PRIM-ROCK at the ApplePies 2026
Luca Forneris, STAM
STAM was pleased to bring the PRIM-ROCK project to ApplePies 2026 “Applications in Electronics Pervading Industry, Environment and Society”, held at the University of Bologna on 10-11 September.
During the conference, our colleague Luca Forneris presented a dedicated poster showcasing the objectives and ongoing development of PRIM-ROCK, introducing the project’s vision for more intelligent, efficient and sustainable mineral processing industries.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to present PRIM-ROCK beyond the project consortium, exchange ideas with researchers and industrial stakeholders, and explore how emerging digital technologies can support the transformation of industrial processes towards greater efficiency and sustainability.
ApplePies brings together researchers, industry professionals, startups, SMEs and other stakeholders working on the application of electronic and digital technologies to real-world challenges. Its programme covers a broad range of topics highly relevant to PRIM-ROCK, including AI and machine learning, sensors and embedded systems, robotics, IoT, cyber-physical systems and digital twins.
Events such as ApplePies are an important opportunity to disseminate PRIM-ROCK’s work, gather new perspectives and strengthen connections with researchers and companies working on technologies that are helping shape the future of industrial innovation.
