Solutions to improve energy efficiency will be assessed within the PRIM-ROCK project.
12th International Conference on Mining, Material, and Metallurgical Engineering (MMME 2025)
The goal of this mining, material and metallurgical engineering conference 2025 is to gather scholars from all over the world to present advances in the relevant fields and to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This Mining and Metallurgical Engineering conference will also provide an ideal environment to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products of the mentioned fields.
STAM was at the 19th International Conference on Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS‑19)
STAM is proud to sponsor IAS‑19—the 19th International Conference on Intelligent Autonomous Systems—taking place in Genoa from June 30 to July 4. This event will bring together researchers and experts from around the world to discuss key topics in artificial intelligence and autonomous robotics.
This year’s theme, “Ethical, Responsible and Inclusive Robotics,” perfectly aligns with PRIM-ROCK’s ambition to bring intelligence and autonomy into extractive industrial processes. In particular, PRIM-ROCK leverages AI‑driven decision support and digital twin to optimize resource use and improve efficiency in calcination and roasting. Improving resource efficiency is not only a technical goal but also an ethical commitment, as it helps reduce waste, conserve finite materials, and protect the environment for future generations.
IAS-19’s international stage offers a unique opportunity to disseminate PRIM-ROCK’s vision, engage with the academic community, and explore the state of the art in technologies that are key to the project’s success.
